Benbow Park has a long history on Buckeye’s main street, so town officials are doing what they can to keep it that way. Recently, the town paid $90,000 to buy the 5,000-square-foot parcel, adding it to the growing list of plots purchased in the downtown area this summer. At one time, Benbow Park, between Alice Dryer’s Farmers Insurance and Beard’s Western & Country Store, was home to an automotive garage.  More…
