Home-building in metro Phoenix slowed again in July, according to RL Brown’s Phoenix Housing Market Letter. Last month, 2,560 single-family housing permits were issued Valley-wide, compared with 3,490 in June. The good news is that new-home closings were up, signaling more speculative-built houses could be selling. There were 3,128 new-home sales in July, compared with 2,988 in June. More…
